Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Circl1 mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Who we are
The App is operated by Beacon Frontier, based in Gurugram, Haryana, India ("we," "us"). You can reach us at support@circl1.com.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Circl1. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You may delete your account at any time from your profile in the App, which permanently removes your account and personal content.
4. Acceptable use and community standards
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree not to post, send, or share content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, or that infringes anyone's rights, and not to impersonate others, spam, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the App.
Reporting, blocking, and moderation. Within the App you can report content or users and block any user at any time. We review reports of objectionable content and act on them — including removing content and removing or banning the responsible user — and we aim to act on reports within 24 hours.
5. Your content
You own the content you create. By sharing content in the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, and display that content solely to operate the App and provide it to the people you share it with. You are responsible for the content you share and confirm you have the rights to share it.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and forms part of these Terms.
7. Third-party content
The App displays film and TV information from The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Such content belongs to its respective owners.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the App and its users. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content or your breach of these Terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. You agree that the courts at Gurugram, Haryana, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, ask you to re-accept within the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
